Why Try Dragon boating with Amathus?
Whether you’re looking to improve your strength and fitness, push your limits, meet new people, try something new and fun, any or all of the above, THIS is the sport for you! Dragon boating is great sport and open to the highly competitive athlete or somebody who has never tried sport since their schooldays. Amathus Dragon Boat Club offers a variety of opportunities from those who want to push their physical and mental limits competing nationally or eventually internationally to others who just want to improve their health no matter how unfit. Either way the sport fosters a great club spirit and is excellent for mind and body. What’s more your first session is FREE! All equipment provided and it takes place in the fantastic setting of Liverpool’s vibrant Albert Dock network. So what have you go to lose?

Who is Dragonboating For?
Dragon boating at club sessions is suitable for individual adults aged 16+ years both beginner and experienced paddlers. We advise that you let our coaches know on arrival any conditions which could affect your while taking part in dragon boating. We can offer group sessions (scouts, guides, charity crews, novice teams etc) but these will need to be booked separately and fees will apply as these will be outside our club training activities.
When and Where we train
Tuesday and Thursdays 6:30pm until 8:30pm
Arrive by 6pm for your first session to complete a safety briefing.
Sundays 10am-12:00pm
Arrive by 9:30pm for your first session to complete a safety briefing.
